Eastern Region Council Visits Woods Hole

On November 12-13, 1998, the Director's Eastern Region (ER) Council met in Woods Hole for their monthly meeting. This council includes the Eastern Regional Director (Katherine Lins), the ER Geologist (Dave Russ), the ER Biologist (Gary Brewer attending for Suzette Kimball), the ER Hydrologist (Bill Carswell), the Head of the NMD Mapping Applications Center (Pat Dunham), Bruce Hemingway, Marion Fisher, and Alica Taylor. Their visit included a field trip to Otis Air Base, and briefings about WHFC work. The members of the council are exploring opportunities for interdivisional collaboration, among other things (e.g., Ecosystems studies, Great Lakes studies).
