Beyond Science, a half-hour program produced by WUSF featured Abby Sallenger, Dennis Krohn, and Karen Morgan talking about hurricanes. The film crew accompanied an overflight of the Florida Keys following the passage of Hurricane Georges. Also featured were the NOAA crews based in Tampa who fly aircraft through hurricanes to acquire data helpful in predicting storm strength and direction of movement. One enjoyable feature of the program was its happening music soundtrack.
