Visitors to GHASTLI Lab

Dave Cole and Jeff Stark of the U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, NH, visited the Gas Hydrate and Sediment Test Laboratory Instrument (GHASTLI) Group on February 17. GHASTLI capabilities, operation and procedures were discussed in detail, as well as the future plans of CRREL for gas hydrate research, which may include small-strain cyclic-load testing. Potential areas for collaboration and/or cooperation were also discussed.
