Andrea Palkovich visited the St. Petersburg Field Office April 27-28th to do some shooting for her German TV-science magazine called "Welt der Wunder" (World of Wonder). The show is on the independent TV channel called Pro 7, one of the most popular TV stations in Germany. She is producing a documentary called Timeslot about earthquakes, hurricanes, and meteorites. Eric Nelson, a student intern from USF, hosted the interview along with Dennis Krohn. Eric speaks fluent German, which is a big asset for the interview. Eric is working with Sarah Tebbens at USF on coastal morphology of the Outer Banks as observed from Lidar and was on the post-storm flight for Hurricane Georges over the Keys. For more information on the program contact Andrea Palkovich.
