Best Paper Award Presented

Christopher Reich, St. Petersburg Field Center, traveled to Indianapolis,
Ind., to attend the Eastern Section American Association of Petroleum
Geologists (AAPG) Honors and Awards Ceremony on September 19, 1999. Chris
and his co-authors (Gene Shinn and Don Hickey, SPFC, and Ann Tihansky,
USGS/WRD Tampa) gladly accepted the Division of Environmental Geosciences
(DEG) Best Paper Award. The paper titled "Hydrogeology of a dynamic
marine system in a carbonate environment, Key Largo Limestone Formation,
Florida Keys" was presented at last year's Eastern Section AAPG meeting
in Columbus, Ohio.
