CMGP at National Environmental Career Conference

Pat Mullan and Cindee Politano represented the CMGP St. Pete Field
Center at the 1999 National Environmental Career Conference (ECO)
held October 22-23 at the Hartford Civic Center, Hartford, Conn. Ellen
Prager, formerly of the St. Pete Field Center, also attended. Ellen
hosted a Networking lunch on the 22nd and led educational sessions
throughout the weekend. On the 23rd, Pat, Cindee, and Ellen along with
Amy Bradley and Melody Sutherland from the Reston Human Resources Office
participated in the daylong Career Fair.
This fair provides attendees
(college students and recent graduates) the chance to discuss current
job-specific requirements and career options with representatives
from industry, government, and non-profit sectors. This year more
than 60 groups from environmental non-profit organizations, environmental
consulting and engineering firms, industry and manufacturing, federal,
state, and local governmental agencies and graduate-degree programs
participated in the fair.
