Tenth Anniversary of the Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership
The Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership (WHSTEP) celebrated their 10th anniversary this month. The speaker for the meeting was Ari Epstein, editor of Scientific American Explorations. There was a panel discussion with Debbie Hutchinson (WHFC), John Burris (Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory), Bobye Coyle from the Falmouth Mullen-Hall School, Peter Conzett from Falmouth Academy, Margaret Russell from the Falmouth Enterprise newspaper, and Sam Patterson from Advest. A reception followed with food, drink, and birthday cake. Most of these organizations have been Woods Hole partners for 10 years and have provided invaluable support to educators in the towns of Bourne, Falmouth, and Mashpee.
