Geologic Division Safety Conference March 2000 in this issue:  previous story | next story Ray Davis and Ellen Mecray (WHFC) are two new members of the Woods Hole Field Center safety team. Other members include Larry Poppe, Tom Aldrich, Rick Rendigs, and Bill Winters. Ray and Ellen traveled to the Denver Federal Center for the first-ever GD Safety Conference during the week of February 7-11. The conference was organized by Wayne Martin and Pam Marsters from the Eastern Region Office and consisted of three days of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, leadership training, and personal-type analysis. Members of the GD safety committee from the three regions were present as well as approximately 20 collateral safety officers who oversee the day-to-day activities within the teams and field centers. in this issue:  previous story | next story
