Meeting Announcement—Toward a Community Sediment-Transport Model

The USGS will be hosting a workshop at the WHFC in June to discuss the development of a Community Sediment-Transport Model. Conveners Rich Signell, Courtney Harris, Brad Butman (Woods Hole), and Chris Sherwood (Menlo Park) recently sent announcements about the meeting to sediment-transport specialists in government, engineering, and academic sectors. A web page has been established that provides the motivation and preliminary agenda for the meeting. Interested parties who wish to be added to the mailing list should visit the web page and contact Chris, Rich, or Courtney.
