Drs. Bob Detrich and John Collins from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution visited the Woods Hole Field Center recently to discuss the new National Ocean Bottom Seismometer (OBS) Facility that has been funded by the National Science Foundation. Discussions with Uri ten Brink and Debbie Hutchinson (WHFC) explored possible objectives and strategies for incorporating the USGS OBSs into the new national facility.
