Students from the Introductory Earth Science course taught at St. Petersburg Junior College visited the Coastal and Marine Geology Center on October 24th and 25th as part of their Geology Laboratory requirement. The course, conducted by Bill Culver and Joe Norton, is a basic introduction to all the Earth sciences including geology. Dennis Krohn and Karen Morgan gave an overview of remote sensing examples from the Center and specifically focused on Lidar applications to coastal erosion. More than 30 students participated in the hour-long seminars over the course of two days.
