New Webmistress for the Western Region Coastal and Marine Geology Team
Laura earned her undergraduate degree in geology from Middlebury College (VT) in 1989 and began her career with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1990, working for the now defunct Sedimentary Processes Branch. In 1995, she began work as a contractor for CMG; soon thereafter, she helped launch the "Access USGSSan Francisco Bay and Delta" Web site. During the 1997-98 El Niño season, Laura helped Rex Sanders set up a special El Niño Web server. She has provided GIS and graphic-illustration support for various team projects, with a special emphasis in recent years on Web-page creation and Web-site design. Welcome, Laura!
