Carbonate Beaches 2000 Organizing Meeting

On January 31, Orville Magoon (Coastal Zone Foundation) and Leslie Ewing (California Coastal Commission) met with Lisa Robbins and Bob Halley (SPFC) in St. Petersburg to start the organizational process for Carbonate Beaches 2000. This international meeting will be focused around information exchange and will ultimately improve management strategies for carbonate sand beaches. Co-Chairs, Orville and Lisa are looking for participation and co-sponsors for this meeting. Information and a call for papers can be found online.
